MY HOME TOWN
I was born in Erode. I am still living on it. It is my home town.
Erode is situated in the central region of Tamilnadu. It is medium sized town with a main streets passing right through it. There are many side-streets coming off the main streets as well.
Though it is Medium Sized. Erode has a railway station, a medium0sized stadium and an ever-growing population. There are some factories outside the town. I hear that more factories are going to be built soon. In time Erode may become a busy industrial town.
As the factories increase in number, so do the housing estates. I myself live in one of these housing estates on the outskirts of town. Many of my neighbors work in the factories. My father too works in one of the factories.
When I grow up, I will probably live in this place. I do not want to breathe polluted air. Also I prefer to live in a quieter place closer to nature.
